What to expect today at Apple’s Live Event at the Steve Jobs Theater : new iPhones, Apple Watch, iOS11

We can definitely expect a lot of surprises from Apple’s Live Event held today at the new Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. Apple plans to launch new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, High-end iPhone X, upgrade to Apple Watch, iOS11, AirPods and much more to add the lineup. Apple celebrates it’s 10th Anniversary today and part of celebration will include revealing it’s new corporate headquarters.

How to Watch Apple’s Live Event

Apple’s live event will be streamed live at 10 am PDT or 10.30 pm IST or 1 pm EST. To watch the event, you can use either of below devices or browsers :

  1. iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch having iOS 9.0 and higher
  2. iMac or MacBook having macOS v10.11 or higher and using Safari Browser
  3. Apple TV Gen 4 with Apple Events in App Store
  4. Apple TV Gen 2 or 3, Apple Events channel appears automatically
  5. Microsoft Edge Browser on Windows 10

Apple’s Live Event at Steve Jobs Theater

Apple’s Live Event will be the first-ever live event inside the newly built Steve Jobs Theater which is a 1000 seater auditorium. The theater is situated inside the Apple’s newly constructed $5 Billion dollar 175-acre corporate headquarters at Cupertino, California. Apple earlier announced in March 2016 that the Steve Jobs Theater will be place for future product launches at it’s “Let us loop you in” launch event.

The biggest leak is Apple’s history happened just days before today’s launch. There was information hidden in new iOS 11, which revealed the names of three new devices Apple will revealing today – iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus. It also revealed the screen/camera technology and about launch of an upgrade to Apple Watch and new Apple wireless earphones.

High End Apple iPhone X Launch

As per rumours, the new iPhone X will be priced around £1,000 approx INR 85,000. It will feature an edge-to-edge OLED display, 3D face-scanning camera. It also rumored that there will be no home button and Touch ID will integrated in screen. Also new feature Face ID may come to unlock phone using facial recognition software.

Apple Watch 3 Launch

Apple is expected to launch upgraded version of Apple Watch 2, which will come with new WatchOS 4. Apple is said to be working 4G version that connect directly to internet and doesn’t need to be paired with iPhone.

Apple TV 4K Video Streaming

Apple plans to launch updated version of Apple TV and name it as Apple TV 4K. It come with three core A10X Fusion processors which is found in 2017 iPad Pro and 3GB RAM. Also you will need a minimum of 15 mbps connection to stream 4K videos. It will also includes device’s 2160p resolution, support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision for HDR video.

Apple also expects to give price details of HomeKit revealed at WWDC 2017 conference, new AirPods with laser screen on its case to show battery power level.
